The Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Exporters, and Processors of Fisheries and Aquaculture Products has become a fundamental unifying instrument in the frozen food sector in Spain. Its frozen seafood products fair is held annually.
It represents and defends the interests of 228 associated spanish companies, with an annual turnover exceeding 9 billion euros, accounting for 60.72% of the total sector's revenue, including canned goods, and 75% of the frozen segment. This sector employs 16,000 workers. Regarding international projection, the fair brings together institutions and suppliers from more than 45 countries, with the top 5 visitor countries being Portugal, Italy, France, Argentina, and Morocco.
In the 2023 edition, our country - which has participated since the fair's inception - was present with a 150 m² booth. The coordination was managed by the Federal Fisheries Council and the Investment and Trade Promotion Agency, with ongoing support from this CONGENE.
Metal Industry and Technologies International Trade Fair, Mindtech, is an event where leading companies in the metal industry and its associated technologies, both nationally and internationally, come together. It is held biennially.
With over 600 associated companies representing sectors such as automotive, metalworking, construction, ship repair, construction and metal structures, aerospace, aluminum extrusion and carpentry, elevator industries, complementary services, and all the new technologies linked to the industry.
In its latest edition in 2023, Mindtech brought together more than 200 exhibiting companies, 15 sessions and workshops, with over 70 national and international speakers, and more than 300 bilateral B2B meetings. It was a hub of knowledge, innovation, and commercial exchange that attracted over 7,000 visitors.
Since its first edition in 2006, NAVALIA has become the main promotional tool within the naval sector in Spain, as well as an international meeting point for companies in the maritime industry.
Held biennially, NAVALIA attracts over 20,000 professional visitors, with 1,000 brands represented and a doubled number of exhibitors, from nearly 200 in the initial editions to 542 in the latest 2024 edition. NAVALIA has grown by 20% compared to 2022.
Argentina has participated for several years, and in the latest 2024 edition, it had a stand that, with the support of the AAICI, brought together the leading exhibitors from the sector.
